Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Dear friends,

St. Patrick’s Day is an Irish holiday celebrated on 17 March all around the globe to honor the patron saint of Ireland, Saint Patrick.

Today there will be colorful parades, lots of parties and the Irish pubs will be very lively both in Ireland and abroad. It’s a day for fun.The shamrock is the symbol of the day and everyone wears something green.  It’s considered unlucky to wear orange on St. Patrick’s day!

Traditional Irish bands like The Chieftains or The Dubliners will play the most beautiful folk songs: “The wild rover”, “Whiskey in the jar” or “Finnegans Wake”

Do you want to be lucky this St. Patrick’s Day? Follow this advice:

1. Find a four-leaf clover, 2. Wear green (so you don’t get pinched), 3. Catch a Leprechaun if you can 😀

Look, in this video you can see a parade in Dublin. Wouldn’t you like to be there?

This is my favorite song by The Dubliners

So say we all!!
