Born of hope

“I don’t know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.” Bilbo Baggins

Born of Hope is an independent movie inspired by the Lord of the Rings and produced by “Actors at Work Productions” in the UK.

It is set in the time before the War of the Ring and tells the story of the Dúnedain, the Rangers of the North, before the return of the King. Inspired by only a couple of paragraphs written by Tolkien in the appendices of the Lord of the Rings we follow Arathorn and Gilraen, the parents of Aragorn, from their first meeting through a turbulent time in their people’s history.

If you liked the Lord of the Rings you can’t miss this essential part of the story. You can feel Tolkien’s spirit in this jewel of a film considering the financial restriction.

Fortunately, you can only watch this film in English 😀 Although you can put the subtitles in English if you want…

Thanks Julia!

So say we all!!
