Twitter

Dear 5th and 6th graders,

In the Third Cycle we are concerned about the development of your writing skills. To make it more appealing I always try to take advantage of the great possibilities that the Internet offers. Colonial Nugges Wiki and your English blogs on New Caprica and Kobol are good examples. So I am happy to announce that, coinciding with the Language Immersion Week, we will extend our writing resources by adding Twitter to the family 😀

Twitter is a microblogging service, enabling its users to send and read other users’ messages called tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters displayed on the user’s profile page.

We will be tweeting about our experiences in Guijo de Avila, and when we come back, Twitter will help us write short stories, debate or talk about your last book/movie.

Remember that you will be writing in a private list. If you want to follow our tweets you must be an accepted follower. Otherwise you can only read my tweets.

As always, I hope it is useful and fun. Let me know your opinions.

Enjoy.

So say we all!!
