Chroma Keying

Picture by Matt Gibson (not a student)

Just a quick post to let you know that today in Arts class we started a new lesson on our “directors in the making” series: Chroma key. This editing technique is used in movies, videos and still photography to replace a portion of an image with a new image.

Obviously the plan is to do something very, very simple and will serve as an excuse to practice storyboard (comic) design, set designing, and, once more, easy video editing. Hopefully, next Monday I will show you some sketches of their storyboards. As an advance, I can tell you that some of the stories are really, really cool…

Stay tuned!

Enjoy

So say we all!!
